Training Workshop “Writing and Publishing International Scientific Papers: Traditional Methods and AI Applications”
On March 18th, the University of Public Health successfully organized a training workshop on “Writing and Publishing International Scientific Papers: Traditional Methods and AI Applications,” in celebration of the University's 25th anniversary (April 26, 2001 – April 26, 2026).
The workshop attracted over 200 delegates, including young lecturers, postgraduate students, trainees, and undergraduates from the University of Public Health, research institutes, hospitals, and several universities within the Health Science Research Network. During the program, Professor Hoang Van Minh – Rector of the University of Public Health – shared many practical experiences on building scientific papers, international publication skills, and the application of AI in research, while emphasizing the requirements of ethics and academic integrity in scientific publishing.
In addition, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Tuyet Hanh also discussed the selection of suitable journals, the submission process, responding to peer reviews, and how to identify "predatory" journals.
The content shared at the workshop not only supports the enhancement of research capacity and international publication for scientists but also contributes to improving the expertise of the editors and reviewers of the Journal of Health and Development Studies (JHDS), aiming to standardize the peer review process, improve the quality of articles, and enhance the quality of scientific publications.
