1. ARTICLE FORMAT

● Manuscripts should be in Microsoft Word file format (*.doc, *.docx); images should be in *.tif or *.jpg format.

● Paper size: A4, margins: 2.5 cm.

● Use Unicode encoding, Times New Roman font, size 12, and line spacing: 1.5.

2. TYPES OF ARTICLES

The Journal of Health and Development Research is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes the following types of articles:

● Original papers;

● Review papers;

● How-to papers;

● Design papers;

● Commentary;

● Thesis/Dissertation reviews.

● Pharmaceutical and Medical Scientific Information

Article Formatting: Authors can download and refer to the general article format.

Original Research Paper

o No more than 4,200 words (approximately 10 standard pages) including tables and figures (no more than 6 tables and figures), references, and abstract in Vietnamese and English.

o Format of the original research paper:

o Title (Vietnamese): Use lowercase, bold letters.

o Author(s) and affiliation: Write the full name(s) of the author(s) and email address, affiliation; do not include titles or academic degrees.

o Abstract: Write a structured abstract, including sections such as 1) Objectives; 2) Research Design; 3) Study Location and Time; 4) Study Subjects; 5) Results, 6) Conclusion (no more than 250 words).

o Keywords: 3-6 words/phrases, using concise words (or phrases) that are representative and directly related to the main content of the article.

o Problem statement: including the reason for conducting the research and the research objectives.

o Research methods: Including: 1) Research design; 2) Research location and time; 3) Research subjects; 4) Sample size and sampling; 5) Variables/indicators/content/topics of research; 6) Techniques, tools, and procedures for data collection; 7) Data processing and analysis; 8) Research ethics.

o Results: Present results according to the objectives.

o Discussion: Discuss the presented results and use relevant references to compare and explain the research findings. Discuss the limitations of the study and suggestions for improvement.

● Conclusion: Summarize the main research results achieved. Do not repeat data already presented in the results section. Do not use bullet points or numbered conclusions.

● Acknowledgments: Acknowledgements for individuals, groups, agencies, organizations, and projects that collaborated, funded, or supported the research.

● Conflicts of interest related to the research: (personal relationships, financial matters, or sources of support that may affect the research and the paper)

● Title, author and address, abstract, and keywords in English.

● References: See detailed guidelines in Section 4.

Review Paper

● Length: 4000-6000 words (approximately 10-12 standard pages) including images, tables, references, and abstract in both Vietnamese and English.

● Format of the review paper:

o Title (Vietnamese): Use lowercase, bold letters.

o Author(s) and affiliation: Write the full name(s) of the author(s) and email address, and affiliation; do not include titles or academic degrees.

o Abstract: Write a structured abstract, including sections such as 1) Objectives, 2) Methods and literature review, 3) Results, 4) Conclusion (No more than 250 words).

o Keywords: 3-6 words/phrases, using concise words (or phrases) that are representative and directly related to the main content of the paper.

• Problem Statement: including the rationale for conducting the review and the review objectives.

• Review Methodology: including the literature search method, sources, keywords used, selection and exclusion criteria, and the review methodology.

• Results: presenting the search results, summarizing information about the articles included in the review, and the review results (according to the objectives).

• Discussion: discussing the review results, the lessons learned from the review, and any shortcomings not addressed in the review.

• Conclusion: summarizing the review results. Do not repeat data presented in the results section. Do not use bullet points or numbering in the conclusion.

• Acknowledgments: thanking individuals, groups, research projects, agencies, and/or organizations that provided support in completing this review.

• Conflicts of interest related to the research: (personal, financial, or funding relationships that may affect the research and the article)

• Title, author, and address, abstract in English: must be translated accurately to the corresponding Vietnamese entry, grammatically correct, and in a scientific style.

• References: see detailed instructions in Section 4.

• Other articles:

• No longer than 4,200 words (approximately 10 standard pages) including images, tables, references, and the abstract in English.

• Other article formatting:

• Title : write in lowercase, bold.

• Author's name, affiliation: write in full.

Title (Vietnamese): lowercase, bold.

o   Author(s) and affiliation(s): provide full names and email addresses; do not include job titles or academic degrees.

o   Abstract: structured abstract comprising 1) Objectives, 2) Results, and 3) Conclusions (maximum 250 words).

o   Keywords: 3–6 words/phrases; use concise terms that are representative and directly relevant to the article's main content.

o   Introduction: includes the rationale and objectives of the article.

o   Main content: flexible depending on the article type.

o   Conclusion: summarizes the article's findings.

o   Acknowledgments: acknowledge the assistance of individuals, groups, research projects, agencies, and/or organizations that supported the production of this review article.

o   Conflicts of interest: (personal or financial relationships, or sources of support that could influence the research and the article).

o   References: see detailed guidelines in Section 4.
