When plagiarism is detected, the Journal follows this procedure:
Notify the author group of the findings and request an explanation or correction within the specified timeframe.
If the violation is confirmed, depending on the severity, the Journal may apply one or more measures: rejecting the manuscript; publishing a correction or withdrawing the article for published works; temporarily suspending the acceptance of submissions from the infringing author for a period of one year.
Complaints
Authors have the right to appeal the Journal's decision by submitting a written explanation with specific evidence to the Editorial Board within the specified timeframe. All complaints will be considered objectively and responded to in writing.
Recommendations for Authors
● Proactively check for similarity using appropriate software before submitting your work.
● Strictly adhere to citation standards and write truthfully.
● Clearly disclose any support from artificial intelligence (AI) tools or authoring software when these tools influence the scientific content of the article.
Violations of scientific integrity and professional ethics
1. Violations of scientific integrity, including: Acts stipulated in Clause 1, Article 6 of Decree No. 262/2025/ND-CP:
a) Fabricating data or research results;
b) Falsifying data;
c) Plagiarism in any form;
d) Listing authors incorrectly or omitting authors with genuine contributions;
e) Obstructing, threatening, coercing, or interfering with the evaluation, peer review, and approval process of scientific manuscripts;
f) Violations of the principles of integrity stipulated in Article 4 of Decree No. 262/2025/ND-CP;
g) Other violations as supplemented by the funding agency, scientific and technological organization in accordance with the regulations of the Party and the State.
2. Violations of professional ethics, including:
The acts stipulated in Clause 2, Article 6 of Decree No. 262/2025/ND-CP:
a) Concealing risks causing serious consequences;
b) Disseminating false information or distorting research results;
c) Conducting research on humans without the voluntary written consent or other similar forms of consent from the research subjects;
d) Disclosing sensitive data collected in research without permission;
e) Using equipment, funds, and materials for personal purposes;
f) Failing to disclose financial relationships, research funding sources, and conflicts of interest that may affect objectivity, independence, and research results;
g) Testing new technologies or products that negatively impact
the environment, natural resources, or public health without impact assessment and control measures;
h) Conducting research that infringes upon the dignity, honor, and privacy of individuals or communities;
i) Violations of professional ethical principles as stipulated in Article 5 of Decree No. 262/2025/ND-CP;
k) Other violations as added by the funding agency or science and technology organization in accordance with the regulations of the Party and the State.
3. Acts of data falsification, plagiarism, concealment of conflicts of interest, or acts that distort the nature of research constitute serious violations of scientific integrity.
Handling Violations
Any violation of scientific integrity and publishing ethics—including plagiarism, falsification or distortion of data, duplicate publications, false attribution, or research ethics violations—will be reviewed and processed according to the Journal's regulations. Depending on the severity and nature of the violation, the Journal may apply measures ranging from requesting corrections and publishing retractions to withdrawing the article and notifying the author's governing body.
Retraction/Withdrawal
In the event of discovering serious errors or violations of publishing ethics after the article has been published, the Journal has the right and responsibility to publish a retraction notice, correction, or withdrawal notice in accordance with the established procedures. All withdrawal notices will clearly state the reasons and will be permanently archived along with the original article to ensure the transparency of the scientific record.
Conflict of Interest
A conflict of interest is a situation where the interests of an individual or organization may affect, or are perceived to affect, the integrity, objectivity, and independence of scientific research, consultation, review, and evaluation.
All parties involved in the publication process—authors, reviewers, and members of the Editorial Board—are responsible for disclosing any potential conflicts of interest that may affect the objectivity of the research or publication process. Honest and timely disclosure of conflicts of interest is a mandatory requirement and a manifestation of scientific integrity.
