Information for Reviewers

Peer reviewers of the Journal of Health and Development Studies (JHDS) are requested to use the Journal's Reviewer Evaluation Form when assessing submitted manuscripts.

Completed review forms should be sent via email to jhds@huph.edu.vn. (The original signed hard copy should subsequently be sent to the Journal Office.)

The following resources are recommended for reviewers:

• Reviewers are encouraged to apply internationally recognized reporting guidelines and appraisal tools, including: 

  • STROBE (Strengthening the Reporting of Observational Studies in Epidemiology) for observational studies; 

  • SAMPL (Statistical Analyses and Methods in the Published Literature) for reporting statistical analyses; 

  • SRQR (Standards for Reporting Qualitative Research) for qualitative studies; 

  • and other internationally accepted reporting guidelines relevant to the study design. 

• Reviewers may also consult the publication "Guidelines and Standards for Reporting Health Research", developed by Hanoi University of Public Health based on internationally recognized methodological and reporting recommendations for common types of health research.
